The publisher house, Real Travel AE, presented recently in Central Athens, a very special volume “Why I love Greece”.

Τhis volume has been written by fifteen of the top foreign correspondents living and working in Greece. They reveal in their various ways why they have come to love Greece, and which particular part of Greece has made an inordinate impression on each and among these 15 descriptions is also the island of Leros.

MUNICIPALITY OF LEROS

During this weekend, 20th – 21st October 2007, the 21st Aegean Track and Field Contest took place in the new, ultramodern stadium at the island of Leros. The event was organized by the Ministry of Mercantile Marine, Aegean & Island Policy, the SEGAS (Union of Greek Gymnastic & Athletics Club) and the Municipality of Leros.
